Installation Terms and Conditions

The installation prices includes a standard back to back Air Conditioner installation ( where installation is specified on the quotation) and no additional material is included in a standard back to back installation. For more information please view our Terms & Conditions .

1.5 We cannot take responsibility for any damage or performance related problems caused by ingress of any foreign matter or person, animal or plant or part thereof, vandalism, accident, flood, fire, lightning strike, negligence or any other external source or act of God.

In the event of heavy rain etc. installations may have to be re-scheduled due to safety regulations constraints. If this is the case, we will inform you on the day (or prior if possible) and an alternative installation time/date will be arranged.

Our split-system units are installed and measured to the standard of the installation technician present to comply with industry installation and warranty standards. If, for any reason, you would like the unit installed at a non-standard height/ position, please have someone present on the day to discuss/oversee and sign-off on the work, all prices are clearly stated on our quotation for installation as well as the prices for any additional material eg. Pipiping, electrical cable etc and is accepted by the client when the quotation is accepted for in the event that your installation can not be a back to back installation.

We can take no responsibility of asbestos dust, pollution or general asbestos-related damages caused by the movement of the material

We are not responsible to hire professional cleaning services to clean after installation and it is the clients responsibility to cover all valuable items in the specific rooms where installation will be done however our technicians will take the necessary precautions to try and limit dust and dirt during installation.

Excludes:

  • Where required electrical connections for air-conditioners to be carried out by a qualified electrician from distribution board (not included in installation charges).
  • Regarding Electrical Connections we can usually utilise and will try an existing plug point for air-conditioners up to and including 18000 Btu/hr provided that the circuit being utilised is not overloaded with any other appliances. Should the existing point not be successful and or any air-conditioners larger that 18000 Btu/hr we would then require a dedicated electrical connection (not included in installation charges).
  • All  electrical connections would exclude a COC certificate that will be charged extra should it be required.
  • Depending on your location additional travelling costs may be incurred. Please enquire about this if you are not sure.
  • Additional gas piping or drainage piping will be charged by the installer and needs to be negotiated with the installer at time of installation.
  • If the installation takes place at heights where scaffolding is required additional cost may be incurred. This must be negotiated with your installer.
  • Any civil or building works.
